The HOTBIN Weekender #24

The HOTBIN Weekender #24

Supporting our customers and providing Educational Know Hows' to current and future composting enthusiasts is our passion. If you already have a composter bin, and are thinking in adding a new one or are simply evaluating which one to select, we hope you find our large selection on 'How-To' videos relevant and useful.

I attended this month a 1-hour talk by Lori Caldwell at the San Francisco Bay Garden & Flower Trade-show that reminded me that we can all compost at home if we are determined to do so. It is just a matter of having the commitment to do our part in reducing the amount of trash we send to landfills (30% of all trash) to become trapped underground, decomposing anaerobically (sans air) and releasing methane gas (greenhouse gas) to our atmosphere.

At HOTBIN, we offer two composting bin models that make home-composting simpler, cleaner and efficient. However, if you are an avid gardener determined to building a healthy soil, or an environmentalist determined to reduce greenhouse gases, you have a variety of options to choose from.

On this week's edition, I am including a 'play list' of HOTBIN's most seen videos that are relevant not only as a guide to successfully compost with one of our HOTBIN models, but provides the basic elements that can help any compost enthusiast overcome challenges in the process or to pick the best composter based on the waste that you intend to compost, the size of your household/garden, and the one that best fits your lifestyle.

That said, below is our most popular play list. You can always visit our channel to view our complete video collection

  1. How does HOTBIN work?
  2. Meet HOTBIN inventor Tony Callaghan
  3. Getting HOTBIN started
  4. HOTBIN delivery checks

  6. How to get your HOTBIN hot in 5 steps
  7. Crank up the heat with the kick-start bottle
  8. Waste ratios made easy
  9. Chop your waste
  10. Harvesting HOTBIN compost

I hope you find our collection of videos helpful.
