HOTBIN Limited Warranty

HOTBIN Composting US, operated by Engineered Foam Products LLC ("HOTBIN"), warrants that HOTBIN composting bins purchased directly from HOTBIN Composting US or an authorized reseller will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of three (3) years manufacturer's guarantee from the original date of purchase.

What This Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers:

• Defects in materials.
• Defects in workmanship.
• Structural defects affecting the normal operation of the HOTBIN product under intended residential use.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper assembly, or improper maintenance.
• Damage caused by modifications, alterations, or unauthorized repairs.
• Damage resulting from exposure to extreme conditions beyond normal residential use.
• Damage caused during transportation after delivery.
• Consumable or replaceable components, including filters, thermometers, straps, valves, and similar accessories.
• Commercial or institutional use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty will be void if:

• The product has been modified or altered.
• The product has been used in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
• Proof of purchase cannot be provided.
• The damage results from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Please include:

• Proof of purchase or order number.
• A description of the issue.
• Photographs showing the defect.
• Any additional information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim.

HOTBIN may request inspection of the product or additional documentation before approving a claim.

Warranty Resolution

If HOTBIN determines that a warranty claim is valid, HOTBIN may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the defective product;
• Replace the defective product or component with the same or a comparable product; or
• Refund the original purchase price of the defective product.

Processing Time

Warranty claims are typically reviewed within 7–10 business days after all required documentation has been received. Additional time may be required if inspection, replacement, or shipping arrangements are necessary.

Limitation of Liability

This Limited Warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by HOTBIN Composting US. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOTBIN Composting US and Engineered Foam Products LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product.
