HOTBIN 200 Plinth is a durable, weatherproof base designed for the HOTBIN 100L composter. It raises the unit by 5 inches, making it easy to place a container under the tap and collect nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer (LEACHATE) with ease.
The HOTBIN Mini is a slimline hot compost bin ideal if you don’t generate a large amount garden waste, to keep it hot add a mix of waste 2 or 3 times a week approx. a gallon or more.

Key Feature: Leachate Collection System
The 26 and 52 gallon HOTBIN models include a built-in liquid fertiliser collection system that captures the nutrient-rich liquid produced during composting (often referred to as “compost tea.”). An internal reservoir stores the liquid so it can be easily collected via the blue drainage cap.
Once collected it should be watered down with 10 parts water and used around the bases of your plants.

Plinth
The HOTBIN plinth raises the bin off the ground, making it easy to place a container beneath the tap and collect nutrient-rich liquid fertiliser produced during composting. Durable and simple to install.
Kick Start Bottle
Kick-start the composting process with this reusable hot water bottle. Filled with hot/boiling water (so handle with care) and buried in fresh waste, it gently warms the heap to activate bacteria.
Cam Straps
Secure the hatch with a durable cam strap. They tighten around the bin to hold the hatch firmly in place, maintaining an airtight seal as the weight of compost in the unit increases.
Thermometers
Track the internal temperature of your HOTBIN with the supplied compost thermometers. Quickly see when your compost is heating properly and maintain the ideal conditions for fast, efficient hot composting.
Raking Stick
Use the rake to lightly stir the top layer to evenly mix materials like shredded paper or woodchip, with fresh waste, this improves airflow and moisture balance. The rake can also be used to harvest finished compost.
